Hello,

I would like to report several issues I have been experiencing in the game related to mods and save files.

1. Mod Download Issue (Canvas)

When I am in Canvas and try to download mods, some of them do not download at all or only download partially. Because of this, certain mods cannot be used properly.

2. Game Crash While Browsing Mods

When I enter the game and open the Mods section to browse mods, the game crashes after a few minutes of browsing. This happens consistently and forces the game to close.

3. Mod Loading Issue on Startup

When launching the game, I sometimes see a message saying:

“Mode in progress – Applying the installed mods. Please wait a moment.”

Shortly after this message appears, the game crashes and closes.

4. Save File Errors

When trying to load my save, I receive the following warnings:

“Loading Error – DLC or Mod data mismatch. Loading may not function properly.”

and

“Partial Save Data Unavailable – Some saved data has been lost due to missing DLC or mods.”

This suggests that the game cannot properly detect or load some of the installed mods used in the save.

5. Missing Mods When Loading Presets

When downloading presets in Canvas, the game shows missing mods and asks to download them, but sometimes the downloads fail or do not complete correctly.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open Canvas and download mods or presets.

2. Some mods fail to download or download only partially.

3. Launch the game.

4. The message “Mode in progress – Applying the installed mods” appears.

5. Shortly after, the game crashes.

6. Open the Mods browser and browse for a few minutes.

7. The game crashes again.

Expected Result:

Mods should download correctly, the game should not crash while browsing mods, and save files should load without errors.

Actual Result:

Mods sometimes fail to download, the game crashes while applying mods or browsing them, and save files show mod/DLC mismatch errors.

hi, Were you able to fix it? I’m having the exact same problem, I don’t know what to do anymore.

Hi! Unfortunately I haven’t been able to fix the issue yet. I’m still having the same problems and I’m not sure what the exact cause is.

I also forgot to mention something important: when the game crashes, it often doesn’t save properly. Because of that, the save file sometimes gets corrupted and I have to start a new save again.

Did you manage to fix it or find any solution for it?

I have the same issue as well. I got these messages in the past too but it never affected my save file. (since its only CC anyway. I understand if script mods break the game. but this shouldnt happen). If you find a solution please update here! For now I have to play the game without mods or the game will just randomly crash. :frowning:
