Details:
The game crashes on launch ever since the new update. It used to crash after an hour of playing or so. This text down here, I found out about it after the game crashed, it was just copied somehow.

I am not sure how to allocate memory for the pagg file. It’s set to system, I think.
Try setting the size to 32 GB manually. That should definitely be enough.
I won’t rewrite the entire instructions to avoid mistranslation, so I’ll give you a direct link to an article on how to do it: How to manage virtual memory on Windows 11 | Windows Central
Thank you for reporting this issue
Would you please try all steps mentioned in this official crash guide? Resolving Crash Issues After the Latest Update → Please report back once you’ve done all of them, to let us know how it worked
Does that also mean that I have to keep 32 gb free on Disk C or is that irrelevant?
Also, I’m not sure what the initial and maximum size should be
Should it be like exactly in the tutorial?
Yes, of course. But on drive C: you should always have at least 10% free space anyway, otherwise it’s not very good for your system - temporary files and other things are created during operation. So try to keep it free enough so that it doesn’t turn red in “My Computer”.
Make the minimum and maximum sizes the same. For example, 32,768 is a good value. If you let it resize automatically - Windows tries to expand the size on its own when there’s insufficient memory, but this can cause the program that currently doesn’t have enough memory to fail. So if you allocate more upfront than required - that will be fine.

Crash in runnable thread Foreground Worker #1
After allocating. I have 12 gb only left in Disk C. Could it be that? Maybe it requires 40 gb?
You can try increasing it. Overall, your system is running low on memory - that’s what this is about. But generally, 16 GB of RAM should be more or less sufficient, and it shouldn’t require an excessively large page file.
There’s a possibility that some mods are causing a “memory leak”. Of course, the game itself (the UE engine) could be doing this, but I’d be more inclined to blame the modifications. Try temporarily disabling all mods entirely, not just the ones from CurseForge, and check if the error still occurs?
Then you can narrow it down by enabling half the mods and playing. If everything works fine - disable the first half and enable the second half. If you get crashes - divide the remaining ones in half, and so on - until you find the problematic one.
Hey, it has been working so far. What I did was set the paging file to Disk D instead of Disk C. I just couldn’t delete more files on Disk C, and I still have some space left on Disk D so this is a special case. Others could be able to remove more things but I just couldn’t. Thank you.
