Mirror Reflection Missing for Character on Medium Graphics Settings

Hello, I have another problem. I’m living unrelated to this topic. I’ve sent an email to Inzoi support about this. My problem is as follows (you can already see it on my page): I’m playing Global Screen Illumination on medium settings, and my character isn’t visible in the mirror.

Hello @Aelvyrion,
Thank you for sharing your experience. Since this issue appears to be different from the original report, we have created a new post specifically for the problem where characters are not visible in mirrors while on medium settings.

Thank you, I already have the evidence on my page, you can check it. Thank you for your help.

Hello @Aelvyrion,
We are sorry for the inconvenience.

This is the issue you are experiencing right?: Urgent Optimization Broken Mirror Reflections and Lighting Artifacts on 4GB VRAM Cards (RTX 3050)

My character appears as a mirror image on medium settings because I selected global screen illumination; on ultra settings, the reflections are visible in lumens. My character appears to be reflected in the mirror like this on medium settings because I selected global screen illumination. On ultra settings, it also appears as reflections, but the lighting is distorted, especially at night.

In this lumen, there are ghostly trails in the dark, unlit environments of the night; my game is pitch black, and the ghostly trails walk alongside my character. In this lumen, there are ghostly trails in the dark, unlit environments of the night; my game is pitch black, and the ghostly trails continue along with my character.

In my game, the image of my character in a mirror taken during the day works perfectly fine with the lumen settings and reflections on ultra. I think the problem is with the lumen settings themselves. Please optimize it.

Yes, I’ve already shared my problem on my page; there’s a video and pictures available.

I thought it was an issue with my laptop. Thanks for highlighting this.

Are you experiencing the same problem? Please, let’s all work together and share your posts so that interaction increases and our voices are heard.

Yes, definitely.

I thought it was my laptop, but I’d also had to rebuild my house after the update and had used a lot of wall lights. They don’t brighten the area much, so I thought it was something to do with that.

The room was dark, and there was no reflection in the mirror. When I changed the settings, there was a reflection, but it was very poor quality and strangely bright. I’ll get some photos and upload them.

These are the photos. My settings are medium. When I try to increase them the game says that my CPU can’t handle higher settings. I used to be able to play on higher settings, but this has stopped.

The photos were taken during the day, so this is as bright as it gets.

This is normal with average settings. Because the developers are hoping for Ray Tracing to work. It is turned off at low and medium levels. It only turns on at high and low graphics settings.

If that’s the case, they’ve got to fix it.

I think it was a hotfix that did this, because after the update, it was fine, then a couple of days later, it disintegrated

You can solve this problem as follows. I offer it as an example.
Add a separate camera to the mirror and use it as a reflective element. Use the mirror material itself as a display for rendering the camera. I’ve already used this for myself. It will definitely work.

Below I have drawn an approximate diagram of how it works.

I disagree with the idea that it’s disabled or doesn’t work at mid-to-low levels, especially considering the amount of optimization work done on mid-range systems; this issue can be fixed.

Also, for example, even in The Sims 3, which is a very old game, we could see our character in the mirror. We can see it. Technology shouldn’t regress this much, especially for an ambitious game like Inzoi; this is quite illogical.

It seems they’re not taking this seriously. Most of the patches are coming out, but none have addressed our problem. So, there’s no problem then. It seems they’re not taking this seriously. Most of the patches are coming out, but none have addressed our specific problem. So, there’s no problem, I’ve done everything I can, and so have you.

Thank you for sharing. Thank you for sharing, I hope they address our issue as well. A fix patch is coming today, but when will one address our problem?
