I really love how realistic and immersive INZOI tries to be, which is exactly why some interactions currently feel very off and break immersion for me especially sleeping and eating.
Right now, Zois only need around 4–5 hours of sleep to become fully rested again. If my Zoi goes to sleep at 1 AM, they’re already completely refreshed by 5 or 6 in the morning. It just doesn’t feel natural.
If the game is aiming for realism and life simulation, sleep should feel more believable. Humans normally need around 7–8 hours of sleep, and I think Zois should follow a similar rhythm. The current system creates weird pacing issues where characters recover too quickly, but then also get tired too quickly later in the day.
Because of that, it feels like Zois either:
-
barely sleep at all
or -
have to go to bed ridiculously early just to function normally.
Both options feel strange in a life simulator.
Longer and more balanced sleep schedules would make daily routines feel much more immersive and realistic.
Eating interactions take too long and feel unnecessarily complicated
Another thing that becomes frustrating over time is handling multi-serving meals.
Right now, if food has multiple portions, you need to:
1.open the fridge,
2.take the whole dish out,
3.place it on the counter,
4.take a serving,
and then manually put the remaining food back into the fridge again.
After repeating this many times, it starts feeling more tedious than immersive.
It would feel much smoother if we had a simple interaction like:
“Take Serving”
directly from the fridge or directly from the stored meal itself.
Small quality-of-life improvements like this would make everyday gameplay flow much better while still keeping the realism intact.
I really hope interaction timing and daily routines get another balancing pass in the future, because INZOI already has an amazing foundation for immersion.
