Good evening. Today my newborn aged up to the next age category. This happened right after the update. At first, the parents couldn’t feed him for a long time. Actions were being cancelled. Then the child had a toilet training incident—the mother placed him in the tub and that was it. His hygiene isn’t increasing, there’s no water in the tub, he’s sitting in a dry, dirty tub. When I try to pick him up, Zoey approaches and freezes in front of him. I’d also like to draw your attention to the fact that newborns get the desire to have a birthday party. But in the game, there’s no way to lift the newborn up so he can blow out the candles. I tried to free the baby with the help of a Psi-cat, or by selling/destroying the tub. But those actions aren’t possible. I can only move her and the child moves with her. The psi-cat doesn’t pick up the baby either—it just leaves him there. Please help, this is my first child in the game and this whole situation is very upsetting :sob:

Yeah, that’s an unpleasant bug. I’d try demolishing the house and rebuilding it from scratch. Maybe that’ll help.

@Helechka This is definitely not a bad idea.

As long as you have a back-up of the save (or make a copy with Save As), you can try modifying anything near the baby in Build Mode because any changes too close to a zoi sends them to the edge of the property. Then your older zoi can go and pick up the baby.

If putting furniture or walls near the baby doesn’t do anything, you can save a copy of your house in Build Mode with the Save Preset button. Once you have backed up your house, you can edit your lot and install the copy of the house, that should reset the family and everything in the house, and you still get to enjoy your house afterward.

I tried to do a move. The game doesn’t allow it, it says the child is too young to move. I demolished the lot, the parents were indeed sent to the edge of the lot, but the child… the bathtub he was in just stayed hanging in the air. And the little one seemed to flicker on the ground of the first floor. And I couldn’t approach him or do anything. And after a while he disappeared again. I loaded the previous day’s save for now, before the toddler grew up, but it’s a little scary to play now))) In any case, thank you for the advice and support :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
