Hey there, thank you for reporting this terrible bug 
Can your Zois interact with the newborn? If so, please try the new interaction to age it up to a toddler. I think, you can perform the same action with a toddler again, to force him to become a child. Then it is possible to bake the birthday cake, choose the interaction “put candles on it”, but I assume you won’t get the NPC Zoi to blow those out 
The issue affects many players on 0.7.1. For some it’s babies, for others it’s young adults.
This is my “pawn shop owner” Joahn Carter in Cahaya. A little girl. It seems she can accept goods (the cells open, but I had nothing to sell, so I didn’t try), but when selecting any other option, the game says she is “currently busy with something else”.
Same for me 
In all the old saves, babies work in the pawn shop and in the cemetery.
I decided to check out what will be in the new game. Everything is fine there, the owners are adults.
I’ll have to start my SAVE over which will mean re-skilling every ZOI. Not much fun having to resort to cheating up skills on every ZOI in the “NEW SAVE” especially when you have several families.
Let’s hope soon we’ll be able to save ALL of our families along with ALL of their prgress in tact in Canvas.

Could you advise us how to move 6 zoi to the new save?

I just created a new Wishlist post referencing this. I really hope we can have this option to save our families as Preset Families it would be really practical.
This bug is terrifying! I tried to replicate it by going to some of my old saves in Blissbay and Cahaya but all my NPCs seem to be behaving their age haha
@Sadgirl I’m afraid you really can’t do that right now. Saving families is not available, neither is saving more than one outfit per zoi, so you would have to remake your family from scratch after you start a new save. It’s an realy access downside, but I really hope we get some fix for this in the near future

This is my wish for inZOI it would be beneficial to us players. Like we had this opportunity in The Sims. A whole family could be saved including their skills and the outfit they we’re wearing when the family were saved.
I cannot share my save file because of Zip file over 30MB, what can i do?
But i send save file via email.

I have this bug myself playing Dowon. It happened all of a sudden, I think, after the newest update. First time I played InZoi after it updated, my zoi drove to the resale venue and this NPC is also a toddler.
I have already created my own support ticket and submitted my save files, mod saves, and other relevant information, so I hope they address it soon. For now, I don’t know what to do for my zois that want to sell their materials or resale things. 
If your save file is big like mine was @Sadgirl, create a support ticket here. Go to Submit Request and then follow the instructions here on how to compile the right information to send to support. 
I really hope we both get this bug resolved with time!

If you’ve used any age span mods in the past, I think this could definitely happen. Did you try making a brand new save without any age mods installed and new Zois and seeing if this issue persists?
I also sent my Save File DXDiag via email.
I’ve never used such mods. But this problem also affected me. I don’t know what the reason is.
This needs to be fixed as soon as possible.
By the way, everything is fine in the new save.
