I find the Discord really unprofessional and chaotic meanwhile the forum is organized with set rules. In the discord it’s filled with mod bias abuse and spam, I’d prefer if the forum could be the main platform for suggesting ideas and feedback as it being looked at by the devs.
We continuously have the feeling the discord is being more prioritized than the forum, meanwhile a platform like that quickly forms it as some sort of cult with the same ideology which would harm the game as this would not be the majority. Especially since it’s known for life sim players to be highly toxic and not wanting the best for the game.
I think the forum is a great place for everyone to gather without it only being filled with people that only use a specific platform which often share the same views cause of stereotypes. The forum is just a very neutral welcoming platform without optional micro transactions that could give off a certain status.
Sadly, people have been asking for this for months and still the forum is being treated as a “side note” rather than the main source of exchanges, which is a huge missed opportunity.
Personally, it often feels like an echo chamber and we are just among us users here most of the time. It’s quite ironic, because the feedback we can give here has more sorted channels than the Discord.
I just assume that more people use Discord rather than a separate forum and since Discord was introduced first (I think), it just stuck with them.

Exactly. last friday I shared feedback in the “brainstorming with kjun” channel on discord, and a moderator deleted all the reaction emojis supporting my stance on multiplayer. The inzoi team needs to be aware of this @AR_Luna
a mod is manipulating reaction emojis on comments and changing the narrative around what the community actually thinks
I’m really sorry this happened to you. I don’t think anyone, especially any moderator, would deliberately remove reactions to any kind of reply though, so maybe something was off with Discord or some kind of reset happened unintentionally? I have no experience with the inZOI Discord channel, so all of those things I’ve heard over nearly a year of being active here feel really strange to me tbh.
@heinziderheld most moderators are nice, I’ve never had any issues with them. but I found it strange that right when discussing a topic that generates such a clash of opinions, all my positive reactions were deleted (and I had a lot).
Did you try to open a ticket on Discord about this too? Because some users here might be able to add their thoughts on this here, but I’m afraid we won’t find a solution for the possible, underlying issue in the forum if it’s about problems with Discord, unfortunately =( There is some way to talk to the support / mods in general on Discord, right?
I also fully agree and do not really like Discord exactly for the reasons you stated @Noor
The forum gives us a much better way to give feedback in a meaningful and structured way. Very unfortunate that it is not treated as the primary source for feedback.
There was suddenly this rule about only allowed to have 3 emoji reactions per post maybe that’s why they removed it.
I didn’t see any server rule about this, however I do see a rule about not being allowed to start arguments and the mods seem to allow arguments to happen and only step in when too many people don’t align with their own narrative (hence bias).
@noor yeah, I know the rule. the moderator deleted all the reactions and they weren’t spammed more than three times. I want to believe it was a mistake but I read your post here about “mod bias” and “mod abuse” and I doubt it was
