Can’t complete the Urge tasks; many of them cannot be completed. For example. They want to read, they go read, nothing happens. They want to clean, they go clean, nothing happens.
Same! Mine were “Wants to do laundry” and “give my crops some special fertilizer”. My Zoi did them multiple times but the Urge doesn’t get completed. Seems to only be affecting 1 Zoi in my family right now. I tried restarting the game but it still doesn’t work.

I am having the same issue. With my game, it worked fine yesterday when I played but this morning any existing urges cannot be met. If they expire, and I new one takes it’s place, I am able to fulfill the new urge.

I am consistently encountering a critical bug where my Zoi’s “Urges” (the short-term, context-driven goals) fail to register as completed, even after my Zoi has successfully performed the specified action. This issue severely prevents proper gameplay progression, as I am unable to gain the associated Meow Coins and essential mood buffs necessary for maintaining Zoi happiness and advancing their life goals.
This problem has manifested with various Urges across multiple in-game days and characters. For instance:
Urge: “Wants to Read an Art Book”
Action Taken: Directed Zoi to an art book on a bookshelf. Zoi successfully picked up the book and performed the “Reading” animation to completion.
Result: The “Read an Art Book” Urge remained in the active Urges panel, uncompleted.
Additonal Notes:
I have observed this problem consistently since updating inZOI with the Cahaya update.
I was about to report it, it happens to me too :(.
So far it’s happened with:
watering houseplants
watching TV
reading a novel

No, I haven’t used any mods at all with inZOI. The issue with urges not completing has been happening on a completely vanilla (unmodded) game.
I’ve also already tried a full reinstallation of the game and resetting my in-game family, but the bug still persists.
Hopefully, this helps narrow down the cause!

So I am experiencing a bit of the same as the others and have prepared a video as well as my game files like you asked them.
Saved Game Folder for the affected save file
So I was able to show that the washing clothes urge is bugged.
The read a self help book urge for the female zoi wouldn’t complete but I couldn’t show that cuz time ran out for it and I was focusing on the male. The male also originally wouldn’t complete the care for animals urge, but it did while I was recording. I don’t know why or how it started working now. Some urges can be filled and others can’t. I hope at least the laundry one shows enough proof of the bug existing
Zoi has a desire to water the plants, and she does. Her skill grows, but the urge doesn’t go away. I’ve tried it several times.
I installed the following mod, but even uninstalling it doesn’t change anything.
Now I’m trying to figure out how to upload the save files :). I’m Italian, but the forum doesn’t work well in my language.
How can I send files to the team without making them public?
