Just an easy suggestion to unblock the 8 zoi maximum per family.
There should be a slider from 2 zois to like 24/32.
They should warn that potato PCs might have issues with that (much like that shadow lighting option on light sources).
Why start as low as two ? A lot of ppl are complaining their families are having babies (not a joke, this is real). So if you set the number at two, you can live a “Two incomes, no kids” lifestyle if that’s your thing. If the family is already over 2 members, then basically they will just stop having babies, of course, but families won’t get deleted.
Also, the 32 will not be from the same woman (unless immortal), but many ppl like to build apartment complexes with like 4-5 huge apartments. this would allow multiple families to live on the same housing lots (now you just need better door privileges as MANY players have been asking for since April, heh).
The game already works fine with more than 8 ppl in a family. I had a bug with the “Collins” family in Bliss Bay for the entire length of patch 0.20. Of course the UI did not handle it well, but I was up to a family of 12 at some point, 2 adults and 10 kids. It was so fun and chaotic but since the UI didn’t show those extra kids on the family bar (Kid 8 and over did not show), it made it near impossible to manage them.
