Possible Issue with Smart ZOI Enabled, ZOI Loses All Autonomy

• Steps to Reproduce: Noticed my ZOI was not handling business last night. Started a new game yesterday (Fair), happened again tonight when I played. Saw new error.

  Removed Doc>inZOI folder and started a new game (Barnes), happened again

• Please provide the entire save file(s) from the date when the issue occurred.

  I have used SmartZoi since before Cahaya and after, no issues noticed. But when I have Smart Zoi enabled, my ZOI loses all autonomy and would starve to death. If I disable SmartZoi, she immediately chooses one of the priority needs she needs to take care of (hunger/bathroom).

  I think this began last night but I was distracted, but tonight was the first time I have ever seen the error, ever. I saw it in a game that was less than a day old, then again with brand new game. Screenshots are on high speed, but it happens at any speed.

I’m wondering if this is happening bc I upped the graphics settings and by doing so, an unintended consequence is that it negatively impacted the permormance of the SmartZOI; not a bug at all. Bc I had not experienced a loss of “exceptional autonomy” prior.

Not sure if others have experienced that error and also are pushing their GPU a bit

Could it be the speed?

Autonomy is disabled at speeds above 5x.

It happens at any speed but I do use high speed in the beginning of a new game a lot. My focus is always to use the first few days to level them up a bit at home…I don’t know why but now I can’t stop playing that way, lol.

I have been looking closer at “how I play” that might be contributing to it …bc I might be the problem

It is possible that when you play at high speeds it disables the autonomy, and when you switch back to lower it takes time to catch up.

Might also concern specifications of your CPU, I usually don’t have issues on my system in that regard but I have a better CPU than GPU, so results may vary.

Perhaps a test would be to see if autonomy is still not working on a clean save with a game where you only started at speed <5x.

If the bug still occurs then there is an issue with autonomy.

I may have misplaced one of the game files, bc I did a fresh install shortly after posting this; I shared all that I had from 9/10 & 11/2025.

I did see the same error one more time after doing a fresh install, but was too tired so I only grabbed a screenshot - I will try to match that screenshot with the saved game file and will share that if able, too.

If I see it moving forward, I will reply to that same email to share the files.
