After deleting the mods directly from the folder/files, could you please confirm whether the update or delete option in the in-game mod browser still fails to work?

Since you mentioned this occurs with all mods that need update, it would also be very helpful if you could compress your entire [Documents]/inZOI/Mods folder and share it with us. This will allow our team to investigate the issue more thoroughly.

Yes still fails to delete from installed mods after I hit delete, when I hit the update button it says broken file after I have deleted out of my mods folder

One mod that isn’t working and now says broken file since i deleted it from my files is bodysuit turtleneck golden hour collection by divinityart. Game version is 20250910.7320.W

Hi @moonlit_mya,

It has been confirmed that mods deleted from My Files will appear as “Broken File”, so it is an expected behavior.
Could you also provide the name of the mod that does not proceed with the update so that we can check on it too?

Capri rose dress- Custom Colors Edition by Enai. for the broken file mod is there a way to get rid of it from installed mods since i cant uninstall it.

Thank you for the information.

Please try resetting your mod-related data by following the steps below:

  1. Go to the following folder and remove the problematic mod file:
    inZOI/Mods/88849

  2. Go to this path and delete the corresponding folder:
    %localAppdata%/inZOI/User_data/88849

Here is another way to get to the path. Try to navigate to the folder below and delete it:
C:\Users\[YourUserName]\AppData\Local\inZOI\User_data\88849

(You can also open this folder quickly by typing %localappdata%\inZOI\User_data\88849 into the File Explorer address bar.)

Could you try to delete all the files in the 88849 folder and check if it solves your problem?

From the image, I can see

  • local folder
  • library.json
  • shared_info.json

I think, it is probably fixed.

After the last update all the mods were uninstalled, but I’m reinstalling them little by little to see if any of them are causing problems.

Still having the same problem mods are updated for now, alittle confused on the sync your mods pop up I’m hitting unsubscribe to uninstall they are still not uninstalling :sob::sob::sob:.

This is when I hit update still doing that same thing bar does move. I kinda wish there was live chats it would be easier to talk to someone one on one to figure this out

My game keeps crashing now as well, don’t know if it’s the mods
