I’d like to make a suggestion that could improve both the organization of game data and the system performance for many players.
Currently, various InZoi folders — such as Mods, Canvas, Custom Data, Photos, AI-Generated, Gallery Posts, and others — are stored inside the Documents directory on the C: drive. This unnecessarily fills up the system drive, which is typically reserved for essential data.
My suggestion is to move these existing folders directly into the main game installation directory, meaning the folder chosen by the user during installation (for example, on another drive).
This change would offer several benefits:
The C: drive would be significantly relieved of unnecessary storage load.
The system drive should ideally contain only the operating system and essential system files — not large amounts of in-game data.
It would make file management and accessing game-related content much clearer.
Players who intentionally install the game on a different drive would finally have all game data stored there as well.
I would really appreciate it if you could consider implementing this change. Thank you for all the amazing work you’re doing and for listening to community feedback!
I would like to give you some important feedback regarding the current storage structure of the game.
At the moment, many InZoi folders — including Mods, Canvas, Custom Data, Photos, AI-Generated, and Gallery Posts — are automatically created in the Documents folder on the C: drive. For many users, this is inconvenient because the system drive should primarily be reserved for the operating system and essential system-related files.
Since a lot of game data ends up there, the C: drive fills up quickly, even though many players purposely install the game on a different drive to avoid exactly this issue. As a result, valuable system disk space is used up by game content rather than by Windows and core applications.
My feedback and request is therefore:
Please consider moving the existing InZoi folders into the main game directory — the installation folder chosen by the player.
This would relieve the C: drive, improve organization, and give players full control over where their game data is stored.
I hope this feedback is helpful and may influence a future update.
Thank you for your work and for taking community feedback seriously!
