  • Details:

After updating to the December patch today, had to delete a mod call free meow donut due to outdated mod kit according to eh warning when i launched the game. Once i deleted that, everything was green including everyone and everything in my saves. I zoomed in and out and still everything was green. Adjusted my graphics settings multiple times and didn’t fix the issues. Before the update no problems, everything was normal including the lobby. Now the lobby is green like polarized in a way. I updated my nividia drivers before the update few days ago on the 18th of December and no problems then. Also did a quick windows 11 update but again nothing to do with the game. Don’t know how to fix it and go back to normal. Thanks for your help, much appreciated.

Did you fix it because i have been trying all day and nothing. Just glad to see im not the only that is having this issue. Your screenshots look identical to mine especially in game which is crazy. Even when i create a new game and CAS mode, same thing. I want to play, but it hurts my eyes and gives me a headache. Please let me know if you figured out a solution. Best of luck to you.

i didn’t :sob:

tried to restart it few times, updated drivers, nothing is working, everything is still green.

i would wait for an update, or just check it tomorrow, not sure if there is any possible fix from user’s side rn.

changing graphic settings for me didn’t work either

Hey @nikkicarz89 & @moniasoup, hope you’re having a wonderful xmas time, despite the bug of course!

Have both or either of you tried all steps from the official inZOI dev team guide Resolving Crash Issues After the Latest Update? If you haven’t tried all of the steps, please do so and let us know if anything changed.

Another very helpful guide is this one: How to verify your game viles via steam.

If both guides didn’t help, you can try to turn off NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution. It is possible, that this has something to do with the glitched graphics. Please let us know if any of this helped =)

I figured it out and fixed it. Do a clean uninstall and reinstall of your graphics card. For nividia go to custom clean installation, let it install then, restart your computer and your game will be back to normal no more green.

it turns out it might be an engine problem, same issue occurs in other games causing green/red tint/hue (UE5, same thing is happening in Stalker)

if you have ever changed Anisotropic filtering to anything, change it back to Application-controlled. If you never changed it, just check if the correct option is set. (that will be much faster than reinstaling the whole driver thing)

you can find this is Nvidia Control Panel (right click on the nvidia settings in tray) → 3D Settings → Manage 3D settings → Global Settings

if it’s still not working try reinstalling drivers
