Seems like the update fixed the crashing part of the game ,but the game still freezes every second. its literally unplayable. i paid money for this game, which because of the update (which i waited for so long and so excited to play ) broke my game ,and also the NVIDIA update doesn’t work well with the game update .I’m using windows 11 on PC that clearly can handle the game and handled it very good before this update.
Processor Intel(R) Core™ i5-14400 (2.50 GHz)
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable)
Graphics card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti (8 GB)
Storage 553 GB of 932 GB used
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Judging by the 16GB RAM available on your device, that’s pretty tough for a game like inZOI. Can you please check if your DLSS is set at least to balanced, maybe even one of the lower performance options?
before the up date it was working smoothly for hours non stop with no issue
this computer was bought specifically for this game. and since the update its unplayable even when i rolled back the NVIDIA update . the game is now literally broke and not playable . thank you for the help thou
Well, the moment I wanted to run the game after the update, it wanted me to update my Nvidia drivers which I didn’t and the game was working almost like normal . but then i decided to update the drivers and from that moment, the issues started occurring like my game was freezing, then crashing, and nothing would’ve helped no matter if I said lowest settings, higher settings, no matter what I did it’s still crashed i tried to roll back the Nvidia and it removed the update. but it didn’t resolve the crushes . and now they did an update today and it fixed the crashing but the game freezes it’s stops responding almost immediately or after a minute or two, I even built and new family to try to resolve this and it doesn’t work, so I literally cannot play this game at all, and I literally have to save it every second because even the out of save is too slow for the freezing , like the game will freeze even before auto save will have a chance to save
Would you kindly take a look at this official crash guide and perform all the steps mentioned there? Resolving Crash Issues After the Latest Update → afterwards, please let us know if the freezes are still bothering you
I checked it right now and everything seems fine. I don’t have what I’m not supposed to have. All the settings on the crash site are perfectly fine
And like I said, since the release of the game, I was playing it perfectly fine. No issues. Maybe slight issues here and there, but basically no issues. Nothing changed in my settings from then. Only those two updates are colliding with each other, are not working, I don’t know, but my game is not playable.
Yes, I didn’t clear them because I didn’t have them. I had nothing to clear.I went through all of the Cache Files and i dont have them .So I cannot clear something that I don’t have. That’s the proof, for example.
hey @Cami_0023 hey @HeinziDerHeld sorry for butting in I’m following you closely. The pso cache clearing is scheduled in the options within the game, haven’t you cleared it here? inside the game I’ll leave you a photo. Options/Graphics/ Clear pso cache is scheduled and the game restarts, it takes a bit the first time.
At the beginning when you install a new graphics card driver you have to wait a bit for it to stabilize, it happened to me with the one I installed a few days ago and now it runs very well.
In your case it will look like this:
your PC > C: > User > [your username] > AppData > LocalLow > NVIDIA > DXCache
→ your username means the name of your profile on this device, so simply searching for the designated path provided in the guide is not sufficient, unfortunately. Please let us know if we can provide further help
I seriously don’t have Anything you’re asking me or showing me. on my computer. I don’t have this. I don’t know why it looks like you’re trying to blame my computer for something I did not do. The game was working perfectly fine before the update. My computer haven’t broken since the update.
Please do a right click in this window, not a specific folder. Select “attributes”. In the following pop-up, please uncheck “hidden” (should be one of the last things listed). Then select “confirm” and “ok”. Now the folder “AppData” should show up. You can now click this one.
Select “clean installation” and restart afterward. This might solve the problem if the crash is somehow related to this driver. Most likely, you had an even earlier driver from the 5XX series, and it had known issues with the game, which is what it reported. This will be a middle-ground option: not that old driver, but not the very latest either.
