Stop the Clones in the Gallery!

@NyushaDm The suggestion about using blockchain for Canvas uploads was in reference to identify the creators. Blockchain is useful only to identify authorship and create a traceback link to the source author. Blockchain on its own does not provide any security for not using a published work. So with blockchain for Canvas uploads, it would be easier to identify, that a build is copied and changed and is not original. This would give due credit to the original creator and all those down the line who changed the content. It won’t prevent changes being made to the original content.

You are asking for a “read-only” content being created. Such a feature would be required to be introduced when creating the content itself, even before uploading to Canvas. For example something like when you create a PDF and then remove permissions to print or extract text and images from it. Such a PDF itself can be forwarded and viewed, but its content cannot be changed. A read-only PDF.

I think you are proposing a read-only option for the content created in the game. Such a feature should be introduced in CAZ and the Build mode. Perhaps check boxes before saving, to prevent further changes. The original remains with the creator; the read-only version is shared via Canvas.
