May I suggest a tag that could be added by original creators to their creations so that it may not be reuploaded by others?
People that ignore this can then be suspended or banned.
Implementing a feature (such as a creator-controlled tag) to prevent others from re-uploading original creations and prevent unauthorized reuploads is something I think could help us but if you have any other suggestions - please let me hear it. I most definitely don’t want others to re-upload my builds that I work so hard on. I am happy to share my builds with Canvas but I don’t want my builds to be re-uploaded
Should inZOI implement a creator controlled feature to protect creations from being re-uploaded?

I voted no, however there’s already a system in place for this.
Doubting me? Download a creation, go in build mode if a house and add a matress on the floor
If a zoi, add him/her a par of glasses.
The author stays the original. Always.
You get added as contributor.
@Samuriko This will suit you because you don’t have a problem just renovating the interior of a whole house already built by someone else. So, I get it but I do not agree. I do not want to be mentioned as a contributor for a house that I built from scratch and it should be my choice if I want to allow others to edit or modify and re-upload it. I’m asking for a choice.
I voted yes. I’ve actually had someone reupload my zois and claim they were “100% original” but if you scrolled down everything was credited to me face preset, zoi preset even the outfit and make up. People won’t scroll down to check credits when they download, and the most probable thing to happen is that they will like, download and follow the author who reuploaded the copy.
@itsmechiie7 Thank you for voting - I’m really sorry that happened to you
This is incredibly demotivating.
I had my last build recolored and edited and although I was credited, this person still uploaded it even with my request not to. I find it to be highly disrespectful and shows a total lack of basic respect for a creator’s original work if they asked for it not to be re-uploaded.
I’m sorry that happened to you too. I think the implementation of credits is in good faith, but it doesn’t stop people from being disingenious. I honestly don’t understand why people should be able to upload something that you made, however they modified it. I think only completely original works that started from scratch should be able to go on Canvas, both for CAZ and Build Mode.
Anyone can download 100% Complete Apartments; Built at 203 Somerset Place, Bliss Bay on my canvas, it took me a week to build, recolor everything in less than an hour and reupload it and get downloads and likes and I get nothing from that.
So I wish there was some type of pop-up that says “This is not your creation and it cannot be reuploaded to Canvas again.”
@JoyIsFunner Please don’t get me started 10 people saw my first post on this and it was not cute, lol. I had to delete it and make it 10 pages shorter. But in all seriousness, most definitely don’t want others to re-upload my builds that I work so hard on. I am happy to share my builds with Canvas but I don’t want my builds to be re-uploaded
@Samuriko I hear you but I don’t think you hear us. We don’t want our creations to be edited and reuploaded by someone else. People don’t read and the original author does not benefit at all from this because like others mentioned as well, the likes, follows does not go the author.
