Even after the new update 8.3 may11 the error “ steam authentication failed” show!!!
Thank you for reporting this bug. Unfortunately, it’s affected numerous players’ games so far. Here’s to hoping it gets fixed soon

Hi, I’m experiencing the problem described here with the update to version 0.8.4. I had no issues before.
Update: still not resolved with the latest version 0.8.5.
I also have the steam authentication problem since april, also with the newest hotfix from yesterday.
I play on Nobara Linux and made sure, that my KRAFTON account / ID is linked to Steam. Didn’t help so far.
My game launched fine yesterday when I first ever downloaded it. I played about 5+ hours. Today I tried to launch it and it didn’t work. My graphics cards are up to date, my windows is up to date, my account is Linked, i’m in online mode, I did a cache clear and reinstalled steam completely. I reinstalled Inzoi completely (meaning I made sure to delete all files from my C and D drive after uninstalling it from Steam). Only mods I had used were the ones from the Inzoi “shop” that can be accessed through the game itself; Which were just some Furniture and Clothes. When I try to launch Inzoi as Admin it gives me an error that Steam can’t authenticate it. I have exhausted all efforts.
me too , only a few people like us have this problem, while others are fine. It’s strange

Happy there’s a workaround for Linux players.
The old version from April works fine in the meantime for me on macOS Tahoe 26.5.
The game started properly for me again today, no idea why.

Started with the ‘Steam Verification Failed’ and did a complete uninstall and deleted the local directory BlueClient directory , InZOI directory, My Documents InZOI directory, and Steam common InZOI directory. Then reinstalled with steam cloud saves OFF. Verification problem fixed. Now it’s crashing while looking for mods that don’t exist?

Side note: runs fine on a older machine with same graphics driver and OS version. Is giving CPU performance warnings in settings despite having a 5950X…
