Details:
On some lots in some families when attempting to enter build mode the message “You are entering build mode, please wait” appears.
This message can be continued indefinitely. When attempting to exit build mode it says “You are entering build mode, please wait.” I have to exit to the lobby and then back in.
While this message is on the screen nothing can be done. Zoies are not visible and objects cannot be moved, deleted, or added.
Also, around the same time this problem started to arise, characters stopped aging on their own. Aging only works in the family I’m playing as. Aging is enabled for both in-game and non-player families. I tried turning these modes off and on again, but it didn’t help. To get characters to age up, I have to visit the family, buy a cake, and blow out the candles—that’s the only way it works.

I assume the second one you mentioned, about “characters stopped aging on their own”, is similar to the one reported here: Townies don’t age up anymore → If so, please also write a reply in that thread about it, because this really helps to bring more attention to the matter =)
About the building bug: I don’t know about any similar report yet, so it is very likely that at least it hasn’t affected numerous players so far. Does the issue still occur when the mods are disabled + removed from the game’s folders? They are known to cause a lot of trouble, so it’d be really nice if you can check that

hi, i have the same problem. but only on a new lot… i made a business, and it seemed to load way too long… i can try to build it again…
i noticed that, before saving it as a preset, that an object seemed to mysteriously was been set outside the grid :o i thought that has been the issue for the endless loading screen. but after removing it (preset on a bigger lot, and clearing the original) the issue hasnt been resolved… so that why im hoping there is a fix for it!
so im now trying to delete the lot, rebuild it so see if the problem will go away..
