Hello, I really enjoy Inzoi, but there’s one issue that keeps me from playing consistently. The light bleeding through walls is very distracting, and it heavily affects my gameplay experience. It bothers me so much that it’s currently the only thing preventing me from fully enjoying the game. I hope this can be addressed soon, as fixing it would make a huge difference in how playable and immersive the game feels. Thank you.
Hi @Porkcubes, thanks for the report. We’re currently looking into the issue based on what you shared. We’ll keep you updated once we have more information.
Hi again, to better check and fix the issue you reported, we need to know whether Ray Tracing and Realistic Shadow optionsare enabled in your settings.
Could you please take a screenshot of your options, similar to the example I’ve attached, and share it with us? This will help us look into it more quickly.
So I only found out that enabling realistic shadows results in significant light bleeding through walls. My configuration uses a custom preset with all settings at Ultra, including ray tracing and realistic shadows turned on. Disabling the realistic shadows option eliminates the severe light bleeding; however, a smaller degree of light bleed still occurs when the camera is positioned at certain angles.
Hi, here’s a follow-up. I noticed that the intense light bleeding isn’t happening anymore in my recent playthrough, even with realistic shadows on. However, there’s some very bad lighting and shadow flickering now. it usually appears when i have multiple lights turned on. I have a video of it, but I don’t know how to post it here.
In my game it still happens. The flickering is also crazy.
I’ve built a room with no lights inside and the daylight is bleeding through, even at night with realistic shadows off.
This shouldn’t happen with any setting, please fix this
Hi! Here’s another update regarding this issue. the lighting from the ground floor now bleeds through the upper floor of the house even with the realistic shadows off and the all cast shadows are on.
You can see from the picture that there is no light turned on in the the second floor. I tried turning on the realistic shadows on and off, changing the graphic presets, but the problem still persists.
I’m experiencing the same issue. I tried installing an engine.ini mod and a DLL to fix both the light flickering and light bleeding, but with no success and the bug still persists. I really hope the developers look into this issue more, because it breaks immersion badly.
