“Optimizing game files” stuck at 0% every time I launch

Hi! Since the latest September update, inZOI gets stuck on the “Optimizing game files” screen at 0% for 30+ minutes.

I’ve already verified the game files on Steam and my NVIDIA drivers are up to date.

The only thing that fixes it is clearing the NVIDIA shader cache (DXCache and GLCache). After that, the game starts optimizing normally, but once I shut down/restart my laptop, the issue comes back and it gets stuck at 0% again.

Is anyone else having this problem after the latest update? Is there any permanent fix?

Specs: Lenovo LOQ, i7-13700HX, RTX 5060 8GB, 32GB RAM.

I just checked and don’t have the issue. The shaders are compiling and loading normally.

Did you already try to re-install the newest drivers? :thinking:
