My child zoo is stuck, and when I try to move him manually the game forces him to walk to the same place where he was stuck at. Even emergency rescue doesn’t work.. when I try to make him go to bed or do something else, he walks trough the walls and furniture and he gets stuck again.

I’ve just had a very similar issue with my child zoi and since this is my very first child in the game i’m not too sure what is normal but as soon as the toddler grew up into a child they began to walk through walls and would not interact with any items ie. mirror, bed
Seperately to this i have been having daily crashes everytime i play, regardless of the save file or the tasks that the zoi does but i’ve not reported it because honestly i dont know how or where, the forum is large (sorry if this is wrong or if im in the wrong place to report any of this)

Hey there, would you please add some info to the shared screenshots? And have you tried emergency rescue via the PsyCat guide or moving / deleting the furniture nearby already?
My problem got solved!
The car of my zoi was stuck somewhere on a random place, and as soon as I retrieved the car my zoi continued behaving normally. I guess that was the core problem on my end..
Maybe the the other ones who has the same problem could check if their cars are stuck somewhere or any other vehicle and retrieve it back and see if that solves the problem.

Here’s a small gif video on how the bug is occured for me, my zoi kept walking through everything in a straight line and got stuck at the end.
apparently this doesn’t only happen with children zoi’s but with older zoi’s too..

Thanks for responding, I have verified my files on steam and i didnt get any dialogue box on my game or anything. I have never used mods and my smart zoi function has never been turned on.
What other fixes can i try? Do i need to send a save file or anything? If so how and to where please.

I have updated my game since this last message and it seems my child zoi is still very much stuck.
I have used the emergency rescue which resets the zoi but he is still walking through walls, unable to follow through with tasks like eat, change appearance or use items. He seems to want to return to the same space but not using the proper walking route.
I also did as the previous poster tried to reset their vehicle but it did nothing for my child zoi
@Deniice - would you please remove the “solved” marker while the issue still prevails for @Twee? That’d be very kind, because otherwise the thread will close and we have to open a new one
@Twee - yes, uploading your save file here would be really helpful. Here’s the official guide on how to do it: How to verify your game viles via steam - once you upload it in this thread, I’ll put it in my game and test the bug, to see if I can figure out a workaround for you

Hi @Twee another thing you could try is saving your game differently and give it another name. Sometimes game files can get very bloated after a long time of playing and can glitch things up. So instead of auto saving or manually saving you can click on “Save as” and give your save file a slight different name. This is what i did and idk if that helped solving the problem on my side but you can always try.
Another thing you can try after that is kinda ignoring the bugged zoi and hope it will fix on it’s own 
i know not the best thing to do but that’s what i did, meanwhile you can fill the needs of that zoi with donuts or use cheats to block low needs.

I hope you guys had a good week, sorry for the late reply i’ve a bit unwell but better now! Thank you so much for helping me out with suggestions and checking on my save file. I’ve deleted the toddler bath and immediately it resolved the issue, no more stuck Zoi. Ive saved it on a new file too for good measure and hopefully it wont give me any problems from here on.
