same, I’ve managed to bypass the crashing + unplugging a few days ago by changing my GPU and performance settings in the Armory Crate app.
It definitely changes the game graphics bc my zois hair looks as grainy, greyish, and low rendered now on my RTX 5070Ti as it used to on my old gaming laptop with an RTX 4060. And I still have to keep the lighting, shadows, etc off and push the graphics settings much lower than it’s optimized for since it’s not utilizing my dedicated GPU I love taking pictures in game and making my zois a “family album”, but the pictures I’m capturing aren’t fitting in any longer bc they just look flat and out of place now.
I know it’s terrible that this bug affects so many people, but the team is currently investigating the issue as quickly as possible. They’re most definitely not deliberately leaving users hanging, but the issue seems to be quite complicated. Every small info anyone can add to this thread provides useful insights and brings the team closer to finding the cause of this. I really hope they’re finding a proper solution soon
are they? I don’t think they are anymore… because I feel ignored and I don’t they are anymore.. we have no updates no explaining nothing.. and it’s been what? 2 weeks now? and there was 3 hotfixes and it never mentioned our issue… the game is really unplayable with the current graphic…
Could you please check on the Forum DM I’ve sent regarding the crash issue test? I’ve sent crash issue test invitation since you all own devices that need to be tested (but no pressure at all! Feel free to share whether you are willing to participate on the test). Thank you.
I am writing to report a technical issue regarding the graphics settings. When I set Ray Tracing to ‘Off’, the game requires a restart (Exit game). However, after restarting, the shader compilation fails; the loading bar gets stuck at 99% and does not progress.
I have already made sure that all my drivers are up to date and I have even tried reinstalling the game, but the issue persists.
Currently, my only temporary workaround is to delete the .ini files located in the AppData\Local\BlueClient\Saved\Config\Windows folder. After doing this, the game loads and launches successfully. However, as soon as I try to disable Ray Tracing again, the same problem recurs.
Apart from this specific issue, the game runs perfectly on my system.
@AR_Luna Is it bc of the basic/member message limitations? I wasn’t able to receive DMs on here until being put in the member tier and completing some questions so maybe they can be granted the same tier to get the invitation?
hahaha penalized for not liking to type. In person you can’t get me to shut up most of the time, but typing conversations all the time… not to much of a fan and talk text, is always writing the wrong thing, so you have to go back and fix what it wrote. lol
Hi all, I don’t know if this helps but I have tried every single test that I know and I have noticed that my installation of INZOI is missing the BlueClient anti‑cheat files entirely. The BlueClient folder contains only UE5 asset folders and no executable or driver. I have reinstalled, cleared cache, switched branches, and validated files. I even deleted steam and did a fresh install of everything and it still won’t install the BlueClient drivers or installers. Anyone else had this or know if there is a workaround for it? Thank you!
Guys, I might come bearing some news!
The NVIDIA 5090 setup, which launched inZOI without issues a few days ago, wasn’t able to do so shortly after my last report here 8 days ago.
We tested some things and found a possible solution:
Go to your setup’s settings control center (e.g. NVIDIA Control Panel for NVIDIA GPUs)
Go to 3D settings
Scroll down to “maximum frame rate” (translated loosely) and lock it at approx. 90 FPS
Scroll down to “vertical sync” and turn it on
inZOI should now launch normally
After doing this, it is now playable on the 5090 setup again. This also worked for The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remake which had similar issues. Please try this on whatever setup you have and report back if it solved the issue for you too!
Additional info: Once the game launches again, you can put the FPS lock in the inZOI settings, so you can remove it from your general setup. That way it doesn’t affect any other games.
Thank you, I’ll try this and report back; I have to remove the workaround settings I currently have it on then I will come back and let you know how it goes.
